Project Description:

This projects presents a handful of the best wildlife pictures I took while on vacation in the Antarctic. The location of these pictures vary from the Falkland Islands, South Georgia Island, and the Antarctic Peninsula. The majority of these photos were taken with a 55-250 mm and 18-55 mm lens on a canon digital camera. Because the wildlife in this area was so vast, I chose to challenge myself by capturing photos that tell a story or show some sort of action. 

What I learned from this project: 

I learned the appropriate camera settings for taking wildlife photography, the best angles for capturing action/movement, and I was able to practice composing my pictures in an interesting way.
